About Lindsay Lessard

Hi there, I’m Lindsay! Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, coffee enthusiast, and sports lover.

I graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics and a minor in Biology in 2016. Upon graduation, I was inducted into the President’s Circle of Young Alumni which is granted to students in recognition of their contribution to student life and academic achievement.

I’ve always loved playing sports and while at St FX, I was able to pursue that love as a member and captain of the basketball team. My success with the team then led me to Europe where I had the opportunity to play professionally.

Though basketball is my first love, I’ve always had a passion for healthcare and working with people. I knew I wanted to work in a field that allowed me to do both so while I was overseas, I was able to follow that passion as a volunteer at a local hospital in the rehabilitation centre working with patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries and coping with neuromuscular disorders.

When all parts of the body are in line, we have health.

Lessard Osteopathy brand mark

After returning from overseas, I began my journey of learning osteopathy at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and immediately fell in love with the principles of the practice. After graduating in 2021 from the four year program with a Master in practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc), I decided to open this practice so I can help as many people as possible feel and move better.

I love helping people improve their health and see the positive changes that can occur through osteopathic treatment. From resolving your aches and pains to seeing the overall improvement of your quality of life, it’s an honour to be a part of your healing.
